Mission Statement

Empowering New Jersey's senior citizens with knowledge and tools to recognize, avoid, and report scams and fraud targeting older adults. We aim to make our communities safer—one informed senior at a time.

The Reality, Seniors & Scams

Scammers frequently target older adults due to perceived vulnerabilities—financial stability, social isolation, and trust in authority figures.

  • In 2025, Americans over 60 lost more than $3.4 billion to scams according to the FBI internet crime Report.

  • Seniors are often victimized by scams involving tech support, government impersonation, romance, and prize winnings.

  • Education and awareness are the first line of defense.
